Balboa Park is located just minutes from downtown San Diego. The Balboa Park Visitors Center, located in the National Historic Landmark House of Hospitality building, is your primary resource for information about the Park.  Parking can be difficult during peak times, but some what less so at 7pm.
Balboa Park asks that you consider taking public transportation. Through their partnership with the Metropolitan Transit System, they have made a custom route planner where you can select transit routes that are: the fastest; have the fewest transfers; or have the least amount of walking.
