Call 619-593-2123

If you have found a turtle or tortoise and can't locate the owner, contact the San Diego Turtle & Tortoise Society at the above number.  Information will be taken and one of our Care Consultants will contact you about turning in the chelonian to the Society.  We are all volunteers - - we will return your call as quickly as possible.  Please be patient.

In the meantime, provide the turtle a secure area away from dogs.  Make sure water is available.  Access to shade is also important during the warm season.

This animal relinquishment form can be downloaded and and filled out

prior to the time of relinquishment.  If shipping a relinquished animal,

print and fill-out the attached form and send it with the animal.

(We sometimes are able to have animals shipped to us from out of state.)
