Volunteering opportunities

SDTTS is an all-volunteer organization

As a member (or just a friend) of the San Diego Turtle and Tortoise Society, YOU choose your own level of involvement. Just be a member and support our cause, or participate.

Whether it be picking up and delivering rescued animals, providing foster care, helping with fund-raisers, or helping out at an event or monthly meeting...  you are always welcome to volunteer for any one of the many opportunities we have to support the Society's mission.

The Volunteer Coordinators for SDTTS understand that volunteers are the key to making the important rescue, foster care, adoption, and event functions of the Society successful.

Let them explain some of the many simple ways you can help turtles, tortoises and their caretakers.  Contact a Volunteer Coordinator to learn more.
