David McCulloch, former President and VP of the society, will discuss the unique physiology and evolution of our shelled friends. He will touch on efforts to improve their situation both for those in the wild and those in captivity. Finally, David will share his knowledge about the Desert Tortoise, one of his personal favorites. There will be an open discussion/Q & A’s afterward.
