Please join us for another zoom session! We will be graciously joined by Doctor Kristina Vuong, Exotic Animal Veterinarian. She works with Dr. Todd Cecil in La Mesa and she is the doctor who performed Blanche's procedure. We are so thankful for her!
Dr. Kristina Vuong was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 and pursued further training completing a small animal rotating internship at PESC and an exotics residency at the University of Tennessee.
Dr. Vuong has written several scientific papers to further the knowledge of avian, herpetological, and exotic mammal medicine and has presented at various conferences.
Her special interests are surgery and fish medicine. Dr. Vuong is passionate about teaching and was awarded resident of the year by veterinary students. Outside of work, Dr. Vuong enjoys baking, painting, visiting theme parks, and spending time with her fiancé.
