Save the date for the Rancho Bernardo Community Council’s 15th annual Safety Fair Saturday, September 13th!
Time: 10 a.m. through 1 p.m.
- Location: LifeBridge Church parking lot at the intersection of West Bernardo Drive and Duenda Road (17645 West Bernardo Drive).
Activities:
-Meet our firefighters and police – including Northeastern Division’s new police captain.
-Explore a variety of first responder vehicles.
-Visit over 30 information booths.
-Free face painting.
-Free crafts.
-Free fingerprinting for minors.
-Free CPR training (not certification)
-Free electronic e-waste hosted by San Diego County Urban Corps.
Some new information booths include:
-SDG&E will have a couple of their drones on display
-Avian Behavior Conservatory
-Birds of Prey
-Free E-waste collection hosted by Urban Corps of San Diego County
To top this all off, the chili cook-off between northeastern police department and fire station #33 will be taking place all day. Sample both and vote on the one you like best.
