Dr. Daniel Barbour, San Diego Humane Society, will be presenting at this meeting. He will be discussing Triaging Turtles in Animal Shelters. He will review clinical anatomy, common illnesses/conditions, microchipping, and selected cases. He will discuss the current Red Eared Slider crisis as well. Also, Michelle DiLorenzo, the medical supervisor at SDHS will be joining the meeting in the beginning to discuss our chelonian microchip clinic on 5/23/26
